Katty
Katty takes care of the bungalows and will be there 3 times a week to clean. She is from Nicaragua and has a son that she adores. She does not speak English, but you can practice your Spanish with her.

Quique
If you need help with things above Kattys capacity Quique is the second point of contact. He is an expert surfer from Uruguay and lives in Santa Teresa with his wife and daughter. He also runs the restaurant next door (Roca Mar) which is a great place to go for food and drinks and enjoy the sunset.

Carole
Carole supports Kevin with the online bookings and the administration of Villas Almendros. Originally from Switzerland, she fell in love with Costa Rica and surfing during a holiday about ten years ago and has been coming back to Santa Teresa regularly. Since 2019 she lives here for most of the year and works as a virtual assistant from Costa Rica and Switzerland. Carole speaks German, English, French and Spanish, so you can contact us in any of these languages.

The Villas Almendros Story…
When I found this place 20 years ago, I felt so fortunate! I was 27 years old when I first shook hands with the owner and made a deal. Since then, I have not missed a year coming down here.
Back then, Santa Teresa was still a tiny village with no electricity, and there were a bunch of horses and chickens roaming around. The first thing I did was plant 50 fruit trees and a bunch of bamboo on the property.
Today, this place energizes my family, which includes my wonderful wife Heather and our two children Phin 12 and Harper 8. It is our connection to nature and the internal world. I feel grateful to be able to come here a few times a year from the states and be in the moment.
